MISO Proposes New 'Fast Lane' For Grid Hookups  

Moving to clear up a massive backlog of new generation--mostly wind farms--seeking to link to the Midwest power grid, the Midwest Independent System Operator Inc. has unveiled a new plan to shift away from a "first-come, first-served" queue system to give greater priority to projects that are developing quickly and likely to be built.  More>
